DFA Dumaguete – Online Appointment
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Regional Consular Office (RCO) Dumaguete located at 2nd Floor Robinsons Place, Dumaguete Business Park, Calindagan, Dumaguete City is pleased to inform the residents of Negros Oriental and those from its neighboring provinces that Passport Online Appointment System is now available.
Introduction of Passport Online Appointment System to the Regional Consular Offices is for the convenience of the locals residing under the RCO’s jurisdiction and those from other regions who may wish to apply at a different/adjacent RCO. At their most convenient time and chosen available date, they may now apply for a new passport or renew their expired or expiring passport.
Interested transacting public may visit the Office at the Affairs Passport System website (www.passport.gov.ph) and choose the Region and Site on where to apply and schedule for an appointment by just following the simple steps below.
The following groups can avail the priority lane of the DFA Office with no online appointment needed:
Senior citizen, solo parent (with official DSWD solo parent ID), children (7 years old and below), disabled people, pregnant and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).

- Provide your personal information and contact details
Step 2 – Choose a schedule
- Select where you intend to file an application
- Choose your preferred date for personal appearance
- Select a convenient time for application
Step 3 – Personal Appearance
- Prepare the required documents for application
- Proceed to your DFA site for biometric data capture

If an applicant belongs to on of the following groups, they are to use the DFA Dumaguete Priority Lane with no online appointment scheduled:
Senior citizen, pregnant, disabled people, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), children (7 years old and below), single parent (with DSWD solo parent ID).
Renewal of irregular passport, like replacement of a lost passport, mutilated passport (defaced, torn pages, and other physical alterations, etc.), and passports issued with discrepancies in the data page may require further evaluation and assessment.
While the production of all Philippine passports is in the APO Production Unit in Batangas, passport fees are the same to all RCOs and Satellite Offices.
Tentative release of passport is 10 working days for express processing at Php 1,200.00, 20 working days for regular processing at Php 950.00, and an additional fee of Php 350.00 for the replacement of Lost Valid Passport.

How you make it is up to you. there are different options. Using the Online-System is one of it.
That is the same in Cebu. you can make appointments in different ways, but you need one..

yes you may, the LBC is in the DFA office as well if you want to send the passport to your address you have to pay around P150.00. That’s what i did .

As long as you fall into the group, yes you can use the courtesy lane: Senior citizen, solo parent (with official DSWD solo parent ID), children (7 years old and below), disabled people, pregnant and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
If you are applying for your 1-year-old daughter, you may use the priority lane. If you are applying for yourself (as a single parent) you may also use the priority lane. Hope this helps.

The option is not to renew in Dumaguete. If the DFA office in Dumaguete has no slot available. Thinking about applying for the passport only 3 weeks before the trip will give you problems whatever DFA office you will try. So it appears you will not be in Malaysia in 2 or 3 weeks.

You may want to try another browser. Some browser consider the page as “insecure”. Which is not an “error” itself, just a warning which you can switch off in your browser settings or on the website itself when using firefox.
Don`t ask us why a Philippine government website is considered “insecure”. we have no affiliation with them or any other office and don`t know what their IT-specialists are coding.

No, there is no penalty for expired passports. The DFA online appointments are always full. Please check as often as possible in order to get a slot. 🙂

my daughter will go to your office tomorrow March 6, 2017 but her appointment date will be on March 15, 2017. supposedly her passport will expire 2019 but due to the company’s demand she will be attending for important matters on March 23 , 2017… the hr in Manila told her to get a new one, but the korean Embassy in Cebu told her to bring her explanation and her original birth certificate because her first passport indicates her illegitimate name in march and in june the NSO released the legitimized copy but certainly this passport was used when my husband filed his permanent residence in Australia…. pls. i need your help everything will be re booked .. and she might pay the whole amount. thank you…mrs abangan

Thank you for your comment. To answer your question, we are NOT busy on Saturday, however, we may have a hang over. We go out friday night and get really drunk during a Team Outing.
We started this tradition, as it is the only way to recover from all those ridiculous requests of people who can not read AND understand some simple lines.
So to answer your second question,
YES there is something wrong, but not with us, but with people who can’t understand rather simple phrases like
“No open Slot” as you read correctly on the DFA page or
“We are not the DFA Office” written in BIG BOLD RED letters in the article above, which you gloriously missed and/ore ignored.
However, as we always try to encourage thinking, here a simple question. What day do people have time to go to the DFA Office:
a) when they don’t need to go to work or school
b) 5 days after asking ridiculous questions on websites

I am from cebu city, If i present my receipt at dfa dumaguete will it serve as my appointment? Please help me regarding my concern.

Hello! Are OFW dependents allowed to have their passport renewed without an appointment? It also says that there are no available dates to schedule an appointment in Dumaguete Robinsons

Thank you for your patience. OFW dependents are not allowed to use the priority lane. Only Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) can use the priority lane, provided that they submit proof of OFW status (Valid OWWA E-card, work visa, employment contract, etc.)

Hello! I’ve already booked an appointment for a passport application, I am currently based here in Cebu. I am concerned that my trip will be pointless if I don’t ask first. I have a concern, my and my parent’s middle name information in my BC only has a middle initial, not the complete middle name. Is it okay to proceed with my passport appointment with middle initials only? Will it be accepted? Just hoping you have an idea because I can’t call the landline from Cebu to duma. Yes, you can update your marital status and renew your passport in one day and appointment. However, make sure that you put your updated married name in the appointment registration and make sure you have all requirements (example: PSA Marriage contract).

I had my apointment in dfa robinsons dumaguete for my passport renewal my schedule is july 27 2021 but because of the protocol of iatf i cant go and process my apointment in dfa dumaguete..my adress is victorias city neg.occ..i already paid 1250 pesos in lbc ..my question is .. is there any way to continue my apointment i did not cancel my apointment in dfa robinson dumaguete until now

Hello, we don´t know what you mean with “given to me was 6months”.
The DFA appointment is with a precise day and time. If you show up and apply for a new passport, it is ready in a few weeks. If you didn´t show up, you simply wasted the appointment slot, and money.
