Tourism offices and local government units are preparing for the expected increase in visitors, including arrangements for accommodation, traffic management, road conditions and public safety. These preparations are intended to help residents and tourists move around the province and attend the numerous events taking place in Dumaguete and other municipalities.

Buglasan also aims to encourage visitors to look beyond the festival venues and explore the many destinations of Negros Oriental. With communities from across the province participating, the festival provides an opportunity for visitors to experience local food, culture, attractions, products and traditions in different parts of the province.
