Miss Bayawan 2016
When Bayawan City is about to crown their new Miss Bayawan 2016, the whole city is on their feet to attend the event. This year the search for the new beauty queen took place in front of the City Hall with thousands of spectators cheering for their favorites or simply enjoying a great show. We followed the invitation of our friend Eli Manlangit, who once again invited us to join in with the City of Bayawan in celebrating their festivities.
The Coronation Night of Miss Bayawan 2016 started just after 9:00 pm with the national anthem and the invocation before the contestants entered the stage in their Tawo Tawo Festival outfit.
Of course, no event can be held without a lot of helping hands. Ranging from VIPs to artists to judges, everybody seemed to be happy to be in Bayawan this evening. Following a few of them. Our apologies to all those we missed.

The last round during the search for Miss Bayawan 2016 was of course reserved for the 8 stunning candidates to present themselves in gorgeous evening gowns. As you can see on the pictures, all of them are perfectly capable to be great company during a night at the opera. It certainly was a tough decision to make for the judges who will wear the crown for this year.
