Schedule of Activity
The annual celebration of the Wayboga Festival is celebrated in the municipality of Amlan. This festival celebration rotates in the main theme of a “Smoke-Free” municipality. During the event, people from nearby municipalities come just to watch the most anticipated part of the celebration- festival showdown and street dancing.
Wayboga Festival 2017
This year, the celebration of the 6th Wayboga Festival and the 8th year anniversary of the Smoke-Free council will be held on July 21, 2017. A whole day of festivity and merry making with the theme: “Kalusugan ay Kayamanan, Panigarilyo ay Iwasan, Smoke-Free Amlan Ipaglaban” (Health is Wealth, Refrain from Smoking, Fight for the Smoke-Free Amlan)

6:00am Salubong Parade and Giant Mascot Competition of 8 Barangays
(Route: Tandayag Wharf to Amlan Plaza, then Bio-os Crossing to Amlan Plaza)
8:00am Morning Program at the Plaza
10:00am Quiz Bee: 4 secondary School, 1 Junior and 1 Senior per School
4:30pm Wayboga Festival Street dancing followed by Showdown Competition
DISCO PARTY– After the showdown and the street dancing
This celebration is considered as a great event for the people of Amlan to mingle and appreciate the clean natural air of their town. A smoke-free and healthy air for all to breath!
