Selection & Coronation Night

The search for this year’s Miss Bindoy 2019 was participated by eight lovely candidates. There were four major parts during the coronation night of the beauty and brain pageant. The candidates had to show their best during a production number, bikini round, evening gown and of course the Q&A.

Miss Bindoy 2018 – Coronation Night

The selection and coronation night of Miss Bindoy 2019 was held last April 04, 2019 at the covered court gymnasium. This year’s theme was based on the enchanting princess. The organizers of the pageant did a great job in projecting this theme through their set up of the stage. This has yet been the best stage for a beauty pageant the DC-Team has witnessed this year.

The stage was surrounded by real tree trunks with branches (recycled as decoration from the road clearing project of Bindoy). Lights of green, yellow, orange and purple surrounded the stage. Actions do speak louder than words, and true to their advocacies, Bindoy used to recycle plastic to create a garden like a stage made of plastic bottles.

Production Number

The candidates first presented themselves in a lively production number with their “queen” & “summer” inspired outfit. They wore very shiny sequin pants and a flowing top with a crown. Personally, they literally mashed up words queen and summer on this outfit. Nevertheless, the candidates did a great job in dancing and introducing themselves. It was lively, sassy and quick!

Bikini Round

After the production number, the candidates came out in their hottest catwalks and lava walks for the bikini round. Known as the hottest portion of the competition, the candidates blazed the stage with their confidence and charms. The elimination round was also made during this part.

Princess Evening Gown

Going with the flow and the vibe of the stage, the candidates looked like princesses as they present their evening gown. They all came out of a princess carriage (just like Cinderella) with lit wheels. All they need was a prince in shining armor! With grace, charm, and elegance, the candidates walked the stage as the crowd cheer for their bets.
