Apostille Document Authentication

Department of Foreign Affairs – Video

Red Ribbon is out the door. Let’s welcome the new official document authentication in the country…the Apostille! The Apostille is an international accepted authentication that has been active since May 14, 2019. This document authentication is noticed worldwide! This means any country which is part of the Apostille Convention will no longer question your authenticity when you go abroad.

Where can you get an Apostille Stamp/Seal?

The Apostille Authentication is available some parts of the country only. Mainly in Manila, Cebu and Davao. Here are the list of Authenticating Units with Apostille: DFA-Aseana; DFA NCR-Northeast (Ali Mall); DFA NCR-East (SM Megamall); DFA NCR-West (SM Manila); DFA NCR-South (Metro Gaisano Alabang); DFA San Fernando, Pampanga; and soon, DFA Davao (SM Davao) and DFA Cebu (Pacific Mall-Metro Mandaue).

How is much is an Apostille?

There are two types of payment fee for Apostille Authentication. For now, payment for the DFA-OCA’s Authentication Service is Php100.00 for Regular Processing (i.e., released after four working days) and Php200.00 for Expedited Processing (to be released the following business day).

    Greetings!
    I currently live in Belgium and I have with me NSO marriage certificate but I need an Apostille Marriage Certificate sourced from my origin country. Please advice me as to where should I get it?

      We can not help you with that, as the Dumaguete DFA office does not process Apostille documents. You may want to get in touch with the Embassy of the Philippines in Belgium.
