Miss Manjuyod 2017
Manjuyod – Negros Oriental
The celebration of the Miss Manjuyod 2017 was as successful as the celebration of the Mantuod Festival 2017. The evening skies bid the town hello as the people started to crown the Manjuyod Gymnasium. Seven lovely candidates competed for the title and the crown as Miss Manjuyod 2017. The competition had four different rounds namely the production number, swimsuit competition, evening gown and of course the Q&A portion.
The show was delayed by only 30 minutes in which case can be considered as early for Filipino-time. The organizers did a brilliant planning as the pageant went smoothly without any interruptions and intermissions. After the prayer, national anthem, and the introduction of judges, the candidates presented themselves in their colorful mango-themed festival costumes. The Manjuyod Mayor gave the opening remarks for the show, which gave time for the candidates to slip into their sexy swimsuits for the next round.
The audience went wild as their favored candidates rocked the stage with their swimsuits and glamorous hot bodies. The swimsuit wasn’t too revealing in the belly area but still showed the curviness of each contestant.
The most thrilling and surprising part of the show was that the different Miss Manjuyod of the past paraded themselves right before the evening gown competition. As if they wanted to say “Age is just a number. We know we are beautiful!” and they sure were. They walked with grace to the stage and was rewarded with a warm round of applause from the heartfelt audience.
After the parade of the past Miss Manjuyods, the seven-lovely candidate went back to the stage and show their grace in wearing their elegant gowns. The question and answer followed, in which each of the candidates answered with wits and calmness.
All of the candidates did their best and they all deserve to win, however, there could only be one title holder. Thankfully, the judges had the tough job that night to decide who to crown.
