The Miss Silliman 2018 Coronation Night last August 24, 2018 marked the 72nd search for a deserving Silliman woman. With the celebration of the 117th Silliman Founder’s Day, it is just fitting that a new face who will represent the prestigious university of Silliman. Unlike other beauty school beauty pageants, the Miss Silliman Pageant is one of the biggest and grandest celebration here in Dumaguete City and Negros Oriental. One crown, ten candidates…who will be the Miss Silliman 2018?
Pre-Pageant & Talent Night
The Pre-Pageant Night of the Miss Silliman 2018 took place last August 22, 2018 at the Luce Auditorium. During this event, the ten candidates go to showcase their talents and to voice out each of their advocacy though speech.
Miss Silliman 2018 – Coronation Night
On the 24th of August 2018, the Miss Silliman 2018 – Pageant Night or Coronation Night was the last step of reaching the crown. The ten candidates prepared themselves to a night that could change their lives. With the organization of the pageant committee, the program started on time and the candidates dazzled in their production number!
Silliman Though the Years
After the production number, the candidates were given enough time to slip into their themed costumes of Silliman Women who became part of the history of the university. Dressed in their vintage dresses and 60’s, 70’s and 80’s inspired attires. While wearing this costume, the candidates were asked during the elimination round a certain question each.
Evening Gown
Still dazzling with elegance and grace, the candidates made another walk around the stage, now in their evening gowns. Everyone in the audience could not help be amazed by the ladies in red. The top 5 of the competition were announced and the final question was asked. Not long, the 72nd Miss Silliman was crowed.
