Miss Mabinay 2019
Coronation Night – Negros Oriental
The municipality of Mabinay is located up in the mountainous areas of Negros Oriental approximately 96 kilometers from Dumaguete City, the capital of the province. Once a year, the DC-Team visits the ever-welcoming municipality for their fiesta and festivities. One of the highlights of their Mabinay Fiesta 2019 celebration is the search for Miss Langub Festival Queen or Miss Mabinay 2019.
Miss Mabinay 2019 – Coronation Night
The beauty and brain competition of Miss Mabinay 2019 was held at the Mabinay Covered Court last January 22, 2019. Nine lovely ladies battle for the title and crown as Miss Mabinay. There were four major rounds for the coronation night of the pageant; production number, bikini, evening gown, and the question & answer.
Thanks to the active and ever humble Mabinay Mayor Ernie “Jango” T. Uy & the great organization of the Tourism Office headed by Gharie Caseres, the DC-Team were able to cover the Miss Mabinay 2019 Coronation Night as ease. Special thanks to the mayor for also accommodating us at the Mabinay Spring, a Place next to Paradise.
Production Number
Inspired with the celebration of the feast of Sto. Niño and the Sinulog Festival, the candidates gave life and color to the stage with their festival inspired production number. They proudly danced to the beat of the drums and the background music. They were oozing with confidence and definitely made the crowd wild with excitement.
Bikini Round
Oh la la! The hottest part of the whole pageant is the bikini or swim wear round. This year’s bikini was simple yet bold and daring. The candidates can be considered the “lady in red” with their sexy red two-piece bikini that emphasized their already-curvy and already-flawless bodies. After this round a couple of intermission numbers were made to give the candidates enough time to slip in their next attire.
Evening Gown
After showcasing how hot as a lava they can be, the candidates took the party a notch down with elegance and grace as they paraded the stage in their mint (or light blue-green) evening gowns. During this round the top three were also chosen for the final question. Not long, a new Langub Festival Queen was crowned.
