Manjuyod Anihan Festival 2015
The municipality of Manjuyod, Negros Oriental is celebrating their annual famous Anihan Festival in October. The festival celebrates the bountiful Harvest of their products like root crops, vegetables and fish. The highlight of this event is the search for the festival King and Queen and of course the colorful street dancing. While gracefully dancing their way through the streets of the municipality they thank and honor Manjuyod’s patron Saint Francis of Assisi. The celebration starts second week of September with the opening salvo continuing to actually Manjuyod Anihan Festival on September 30.
