Zamboanguita is mainly known as the “Gateway to Apo Island”. However, there are some great dive sites along the Zamboanguita shore as well that are worth the visit. Scuba diving in Zamboanguita is generally super fun and easy. One of these sites is the Basak Dive Site near the Malatapay Market. This is site is perfect for any scuba diver, even an open water! Great stuff to see in Basak are ribbon eels, moray eels, nudibranch, shrimps, crabs, batfish, clownfish and so much more!
