Sinulog Festival 2022 Tanjay City – Video

The Sinulog Festival 2022 in Tanjay City was held last July 24, 2022. Due to the pandemic, the fiesta and festival celebration in the city. Now, after two years, it is finally back! Of course, standard health and safety protocols are still followed.

This year’s street dancing and showdown competition were participated by only three contingents/ clusters. The program started with of course prayer and an opening speech given by Tanjay City Mayor Jose “Pepe” T. Orlino. This was then followed by the offertory and finally the street dancing competition. The streets of Tanjay were filled with colorful festival costumes, arks, and the heavy beating of drums. After the street dancing, the dancers were given a lunch break before the showdown competition. Did you miss the festival?
