Basay – Negros Oriental

The DC Team is always excited, when traveling to the municipality of Basay. Of course we went also for the Kapaw Festival 2024. Over almost a decade we made a lot of friends in the small municipality at the border to Negros Occidental. This year’s festival was once again a great success and the whole town was on its feet to participate or helped to make it another memorable event.

Five contingents from different schools and barangays participated at the Kapaw Festival. The spirit was high and the cheers loud, when the groups danced through the streets of Basay towards the municipality gym, where the showdown was held.

Our galleries of the Kapaw Festival cannot show the real fun and excitement everyone had at the Kapaw Festival.

Once again, the DC-Team would love to thank everybody involved for giving us such a memorable time at the Kapaw Festival 2024. We met many old friends and made plenty of new ones. We are looking forward seeing all of you again during Buglasan 2024.
