Cantil-E Elementary School
Cantil-e Elementary School is a public elementary located at 6 kilometers west of the center of Dumaguete City. The school is located 1.5 kilometers south of the west bound national highway along the side of Junob-Cantil-e road and 2.5 kilometers west of the south bound national highway passing Banilad – Bajumpandan road.

The guiding principles of this school are based on Education For All (EFA) 2015, Republic Act 9155 and Schools First Initiative. The school is headed by a Principal I with 15 nationally paid teachers, one (1) nationally paid utility worker and one (1) nationally paid night watchman. BEC 2002 or the Revised Basic Education Curriculum is the school’s academic mat for instructional improvement.
Demographics of Cantil-E Elementary School
The school is built on a land area which exceeds 8,000 square meters. 14 classrooms are available to teach pupils of Cantil-E and some neighboring barangays. 600 pupils were enrolled during the school year 2013-2014. At present are 16 teachers taking care that the pupils learn the basics.
