The law is clear, the return ticket has to be within 30 days. First it is up to the airline, if they let you board an aircraft to fly to the Philippines or not. Secondly, it is up to the immigration officer in the Philippines, to let you enter the country if you don’t have a onward ticket within 30 days. Please be aware, it has to be an onward ticket, NOT a return ticket. On option is, you buy a “throw away”-ticket. Plenty of cheap airlines in Asia to do so. HK Express offers flights from Clark to HK for P800 plus fees.

Germans enter the Philippines Visa-free. The entry stamp is NOT a visa and valid for 30 days. The 29 days thereafter are also NOT a visa, but a Visa-Waiver. It is wrongly called by many visa-extension, but could make a legal difference, if someone gets into trouble one way or another.

The regular way to extend your stay at the BOI satellite office in Dumaguete takes one week. Express extension can shorten the time to 24 hours (Express fee will be applied). If you apply in the last 7 days within your authorized stay (like after 25 days), you need to pay express automatically.

Similar to the question above we like to stay in the Philippines for ex. 45 days but try to avoid to make a 59day-visa at home because it is a bit complicated and cannot book a flight before getting a visa but cannot get a visa without returnflight. So we like to arrive without a visa, instead we will take a visa on arrival (30 days) and apply for an extension (29 days) in Dumaguete or Cebu. Here’s my question: It is now possible to do this with an return-ticket without a date within the first 30 days?
And how many days need a visa-extension to be done in Dumaguete?

I did it twice in the past 2011 and 2012 without any problems but it needed fe. 3 or 4 days in Dumaguete because I got an ID-Card from Manila (there it needed only one day).

Good day,pwede ko ba malaman Kong ano talaga requirements pag kukuha ng passport dyan sa dumaguete?kasi po kumuha anak ko dyan,una dala nya PSA,national id ,and school I’d.tapus pinabalik po sya kasi need daw local birth certificate. Pag balik nya dala nya with NBI.pero Di nanaman tinanggap dahil need nanaman diploma.so ngayun need nanaman nya ulit mag pa appointment kasi due date na sya.ano po ba talaga requirements nyo para maasikaso lahat bago pa pumonta sa inyo.salamat

There are trikes and private “taxis” just outside the building. Trike will be P100-150 (if you walk all the way out to the main road, you get it for P50.
Car should be P400 – 500

In reply to Bastiaan. We are nit aware of a list, as really each resort, travel agent, and many private people offer Apo Island trips. Prices vary a lot because of the services included. different boat-sizes, food and drinks included, snorkel equipment included, fees included, hotel-pick up, etc.
