Medical Outreach Mission in Dumaguete
A medical outreach mission will be conducted in Dumaguete City from January 15 to 20, 2017 which will be held in two venues. One will be at the Central Block Building of the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital and the other is at the Cong. Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Complex.
According to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, this is part of the sisterhood agreement between the city and Alameda City in California, USA. There will be about 150 Filipino and American doctors who will take part in the mission. It is expected that a minimum of 10,000 beneficiaries from Dumaguete City and other parts of the province will avail of free medical services, including minor and major surgical procedures.
The City Health Office in Dumaguete City is conducting a screening for those who want to avail of these services.
